Dr. Bob Sager
Bob Sager has worked with veterinarians and beef cattle throughout his entire career. He has mentored over 353 veterinary students during his time as a practicing veterinarian. Bob spent two years with Miratorg Holdings near Bryansk, Russia, as a senior veterinarian in charge of the health and biosecurity of 437,000 head of beef cattle. He also spent five years as a non-traditional graduate student studying micro-mineral nutrition and its effects on the immune system of beef cattle.
Bob was also a rancher at Shields Valley in southwestern Montana, Raised seven children, and owned three agricultural business in my career.
Bob's interests include promoting beef cattle health and nutrition for optimum performance, fly fishing, personal athletic performance as a hammer thrower, family activities, mentoring veterinary students, old cowboy stories and music.
